1970年デイトナ24時間レースのアップグレード版です。ポルシェとフェラーリのピットは本当に隣同士だったんでしょうか。
Upgraded diorama of Daytona 24 Hours Race 1970. I am not sure whether the pits of Porsche and Ferrari were side by side.

新しいおもちゃ。NASCARレースなどでよく使われているツール・カート（ピット・カートなどとも呼ばれているようです）。ガルフ・ポルシェ風に仕上げてみました。

1970年デイトナ24時間レース。ポルシェ917 1号車は2位。フェラーリ512S 28号車は3位に入賞しました。
Scene from 1970 24 Hours Daytona Race. Porsche 917K #1 (Jo Siffert/Brian Redman) was finished in 2nd, Ferrari 512S #28 (Mario Andretti/Arturo Merzario/Jacky Ickx) was in 3rd.

こちらはシェルビー・アメリカンの工場です。工具はSnap-Onです。
Equipped a two post lift to Shelby American factory. Tools are Snap-On.

904は1964年の日本グランプリで式場壮吉の操縦でGT-IIクラスで勝ちましたが、ライバルはスカイラインGT。ある意味当然でしょう。
910は1968年の日本グランプリで生沢徹の操縦で2位に入りましたが、ライバルはいずれも大排気量車でしたので、生沢のドライビング・テクニックとともにポルシェを印象付けました。

910, which contributed to establish legendary image of Porsche in Japan, such as
quick, toughness and agility. 904,
driven by Soukichi Shikiba, won the GT-II class of 1964 Japan Grand Prix, but
the largest rival was Prince Skyline GT (touring car base), thus the result was
just a matter of course.
910, driven by
Tetsu Ikuzawa, got the 2nd prize in 1968 Japan Grand Prix.
However, major rivals were all big bangers, thus the result contributed
to impress image of Porsche together with driving techniqhe of Ikuzawa.
式場壮吉と904。式場はダンロップのレーシングスーツを着ていたと聞きましたので、当時の写真を基にライト・ブルーに塗ってみましたが、実は白いバージョンもあったようです。どちらが正しいんでしょうか。胸にはダンロップのロゴを入れてみました。
Sokichi Shikiba and 904. I heard Shikiba was wearing Dunlop racing suit. I wore him light blue one, according the photograph of that age. However, I found there was a white version later. Which is correct?
生沢徹と910。生沢は自らも創始者のひとりであるレーシング・メイトのレーシングスーツを着ていました。このころはまだ目新しかったスポンサーロゴをレーシングスーツにも貼り付けています。
生沢に見えない？実はほとんどのフィギュアは西洋人を基にしていますので、中々日本人には見えないんですよね。ですから、メカニックにはメガネをかけさせました。多少は日本人ぽいでしょう？
Tetsu Ikuzawa and 910. Ikuzawa wore racing suit made by Racing Mate, of which Ikuzawa was one of the founders. He put a lot of sponcer logo on his racing suite, which must be very new in Japan.
The figure does not look like Ikuzawa? Most of the figure are based on Caucasians, thus it is diffcult to express Asians. So I wore glasses on the mechanic. A bit look like Japanese?
海外で活躍する日本車です。
左から、1970-1971年、SCCAチャンピオンシップのCクラスでジョン・モートンのドライブで総合優勝したBRE Datsun 240Z、1971年のサファリ・ラリーで優勝したハーマン-シュラー組の240Ｚ、1968年のSCCAの2000㏄以下のC市販車クラスで総合3-4位に入ったトヨタ2000GTです。
BREのメカニックは当時の写真に従った赤白のユニフォームを、サファリラリーでは日産ロゴの作業着を、2000GTのメカニックは提携先のシェルビー・アメリカンのロゴの作業着を着せてみました。
Japanese cars succeeded in foreign motor racing scene.
From the left, BRE Datsun 240Z, 1970-1971 SCCA C-class Championship Winner by John Morton, Herrmann/Shuller 240Z, which won 1971 Safari Rally, and Toyota 2000GT, which won 3rd and 4th in point standing in 1968 SCCA C-production category for under 2.0 litter.
Mechanics are wearing, BRE red-white uniform, according to the photograph of the days, Nissan logo white mechanic suit, and Shelby logo blue mechanic suit respectively.
トヨタ2000GTは007シリーズの映画『007は二度死ぬ』（1967）に登場します。市販車には採用されなかったコンバーチブル・スタイルが特徴です。
前に立つフィギュアはご存じ007ジェームズ・ボンド役のショーン・コネリーとキッシー鈴木役の浜美枝です。
Roadster style Toyota 2000GT, which was never adopted in market version though, was featured in 007 movie, "You Only Live Twice" (1967).
The figures are, James Bond, played by Sean Connery, and Kissy Suzuki, played by Mie Hama, respectively.
1975年のF1マシンであるフェラーリ312Tとドライバー・ラインナップを紹介するエンツォ・フェラーリ。後ろは当時の市販フェラーリの最高峰であるフェラーリ365GT4BBです。F1のイメージを利用した水平対向12気筒エンジンを搭載していることで知られています。

新旧のフェラーリを自慢げに紹介するエンツォ・フェラーリです。
車はフェラーリ312T、330P4，250GTOの1/18です。ドライバーはマシンに座っているのがクレイ・レガツォーニ、立っているのがニキ・ラウダ。
メカニックはフェラーリのメカニック、ということでeBayから買ったんですが、本当にこんな恰好をしていたんでしょうか。ま、マルボロはフェラーリのオフィシャル・スポンサーではありましたが。

Machines are 312T, 330 p4, 250GTO, respectivwely. A driver, sitting on 312T is Clay Regazzoni, and the other driver standing aside is Niki Lauda.
Is the costume of mechanics correct? I bought them from eBay, stating Ferrari mechanics, but they only have Marlboro logo only. Marlboro had long been a sponsor of Ferrari though.
上記のディテール。さすが1/18ともなるとよく出来てますねえ。
こちらはロータス79のピットストップ。
マシンはロニー・ピーターソン。横でコリン・チャップマンとマリオ・アンドレッティが話しています。そうだとすると、手前の黒服はピーター・ウォアでしょうか。何を話しているんでしょう。

ジョン・ワイアと話すジョー・シフェール。ポルシェ917のピット。お隣はフェラーリ512Sが停まっています。そう、本当はルマン24時間を再現しようと思ったのですが、まだマックィーンが入荷していないんです。
で、こちらはフェラーリ512Sのピット。ドライバーは誰？黄色い服はマウロ・フォルギエーリ？
アルファ・ロメオ33TT 12
メカニックはどんな格好をしているのか分からなかったので、とりあえず赤いツナギを着せてみました。で、Campariのスポンサーロゴを作って貼ってみました。それらしく見えるでしょうか。
I could not find good mechanic photo, I dressed them in red mechanic suit with "Campari" logo. Does it not look genuine?
こちらは、フェラーリ312PBとポルシェ908/3。この2台だと並んでいてもおかしくはないですよね。

珍しいラッキー・ストライク・カラーの72、真中はグラハム・ヒル（CTLだからコスプレ？）の49、右側は25と横に立つジム・クラーク（CTLだからコスプレ？）とコリン・チャップマン（CTLだからコスプレ？）
Made a imaginary scene of show of Classic Team lotus. Lucky Strike color Lotus 72 with Dave Charlton figure, Lotus 49 with Graham Hill figure, and Lotus 25 with Jim Clark standing figure.
CTLのユニフォームを真似て、緑色のユニフォームの皆さんには左胸にClassic Team Lotusのロゴ、右胸にはLotus（ACBCが入ってるやつ）のロゴ、見えませんが背中にもClassic Team Lotusのロゴを入れてみました。それらしく見えるでしょうか。
The Green shirts, standing around as officials, have Classic Team Lotus logos on the letft front and back, and ACBC Lotus logo on right front.
どこぞのコンクール・デレガンスだかモーターショーの感じですか。
車は左からブガッティ・タイプ35グランプリ、アルファ・ロメオ・アルフェッタ159M、マセラティ・ティーポ61“バードケージ”です。

で、ブガッティの横には黄色いセーター姿のタツィオ・ヌヴォラーリとダブルの背広と山高帽で決めたエットーレ・ブガッティです。

ジム・バンバーという自動車漫画家の漫画を元に3Dで作成したメルセデス・ベンツ300SLRのモデルです。レジンだと思います。
Jim Bamber, a famous cartoonist of motor sports, is now producing 3D figures based on his cartoons. This is a diorama I made, by using his Mercedes Benz 300 SLR.
スターリング・モスとデニス・ジェンキンスが乗ったミレ・ミリア出場時をモデルにしてあります。ジオラマの小屋がカワイイでしょ。道端にお花も咲かせてみました。どうです、イタリアの雰囲気でしょ？
Apparently, the modes is based on Mille Miglia model, where Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkins won the race. Don't you think the garden shed looks genuinely dingy, and the road side flowers looks genuinely Italian?
